Kolgrima Stonetruth, Winter Witch

It is wrong of me to admit that the Old Witch is one of my favourite warcasters in Warmachine because she’s this grumpy old woman that’s had enough of your guff? Yes, she’s a force of nature, yes, a manifestation of something older than the Iron Kingdoms themselves, yes, she a dirty Khadoran (slightly better than a filthy Cygnaran), but there’s just something about the idea of this old lady trundling up to the professional military with what’s essentially a pack mule, and saying “Now, you boys come with me. No backchat now! I won’t have any dilly-dallying!”.

Now the Trollboods are looking to join the mix with Kolgrima Stonetruth, the Winter Witch.

Now, true enough, Kolgrima is also an *old* witch, but she’s not the Old Witch. Instead, she’s the Winter Witch, which makes the prospect of Turkish Delight in Narnia very weird indeed. She also comes with an owl, which has me wanting to reference Bubo from Clash of the Titans, but this is a Hordes model, not a Warmachine one, so clockwork references just won’t tick.

A very simple four components: The main body, two arms and dos birdis. Stay flappy, my friends.

Kolgriima’s cloak is festooned with knick-knackery. Picking out the bones, stones and skulls could be come something of a treasure hunt.

Hooty McHootface? No? Well, there’s a Salt Truck out there  named Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Anti-Slip Machinery, so nyah.

And when you put it all together you get a wrinkly-chinned old troll matriarch, ready to put some extra chill in your bones… and then use said bones to make a broth of some sort.

Kolgrima Stonetruth is a November release for the Trollbloods. Get her from your FLGS or preferred online vendor.
