Earlier this year, we had to enact a scorched earth policy on the official Lost Hemisphere site thanks to DDOS malarkey. Over a decade of bloggery was lost, millions of word, and frankly, it was heartbreaking. Most of the images were saved, including the Paint The Target entries, and are sitting in folders on the Gdayputer waiting for me to decide what to do with them, but to lose all of that content was a heck of a thing.
Needless to say, I took some time off, but writing has been a huge part of my nerdery for so long, and while not being tied to a regular writing schedule has been liberating in many ways, not writing -at all- has been like letting a little part of my nerdery wither and languish.
I’m pretty sure you all knew it was only a matter of time before the siren call of the keyboard beckoned me once more… and the Mk IV battlegroups were the impetus I needed. I offer no promises as to what the posting schedule and upcoming content will be, but in the very least, there’s unboxings to share.
There are any number of projects on the painting table, things in the wings, and we’re looking at returning to CaptainCon to run the annual fundraiser for the first time in three years, this coming February. I hope we’ll see you there.
is it possible to put the pictures up, just as an image gallery? i feel, even without the text, they should be useful and enjoyable.
That’s where I’m leaning. Just a matter of getting ducks in a row.
