Years ago, there was an episode of Let’s Make A Deal. One of the options included a ski adventure. To display this there was a taxidermy’d donkey – apparently part of the show’s prop room for decades – on skis. Said skis had rockets attached. This was the legend of Rocket Donkey inspired. Our equine hero zooms onto the scene with a resounding FWOOSH!
I can see you’re waiting for relevance. August’s target was things that get you from A to B, things that are fast, things that help go FWOOSH! Let’s see what landed in the inbox…
From Aggyface, a little Monsterpocalypse! Defender-X can’t defeat Gorghadra alone! Send in the Strike Fighters!
From Chris C, Shifting Stones don’t really make you go faster… they just make you disappear, and then reappear wherever it is they’re sending you!
Darren understands the importance of zooming at high velocity… and subsequently closely examining trees. BOOM!
The Man-O-War Strike Tanker isn’t particularly fast… but I guess it can be considered a vehicle? The shells fire from the cannon quite fast?
Kurt – the tallest man in Warmachine (despite there actually being taller players… it’s kinda like our old friend Pablo being a legless Welshman despite his having two legs and being Peruvian) – pulled out the convention exclusive Rocketeer
MarkS’ Feora is all set to unleash burning vengeance on aquarium gravel.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that kicked and scored a GOOOOAAALLLL!!!!! – NotThatOne
RichardVs Wanderer is all about getting from A to B at a leisurely pace.
Um… I don’t think VoltRon’s Gloomtide Shipwreck is helping anyone get anywhere anymore… but it used to?
AAAANNNDD I would walk 500 miles, and I would walk 500 more, just to be the guy who walked a thousand miles to tell you that this month’s winner is… RichardV!!! Gratz, you win something from the LH Prize Pool! Send me an address at email@example.com and I’ll get something in the mail for you!

Send in your pics of newly painted shinies to firstname.lastname@example.org by Noon EST, September 28th. Deadline is deadline, people. Once more, one random participant will receive a little somethin’ somethin’ in the mail. You want somethin’? You gotta submit! Don’t forget to include your online handle! Oh, and if you can make the pics attachments to the emails rather than inline, that’d help me on the formatting end.
